 No backup for mobile devices I was looking for a product that would backup the programs on my mobile device. However Backup4All does not appear to recognize the 'Mobile Device' folder even when my device is connected using ActiveSync.The other various backup functions provided by the program are very good.

 Wrong version My USB drive is not U3 so this version of software is no good for me. I want a backup solution that starts automatically whenever I connect my usb drive. I have previously used bounceback which did this but the restore and purge function didn't work properly.

Saving of outlook emails on an external drie I understood the above software would save microsoft outlook inbook and folders emails on an external drive in mirror format that is if I opened the external drive I would see the inbox and its folders just as seen on the computor but that is not the case all I see is a pst folder. Fast and Easy Paragon Drive Backup Personal 9 seems to work great but I haven't tried to restore any files using it yet. I did have a momentary bit of problems trying to install it because I was using the trial version at first. Once I purchased the full version I was given the option to download a 32 bit version or the 64 bit version. I didn't know which one I was supposed to download that would work on my computer. Then during the first part of the installation I got a pop up screen that asked if I wanted to "restore", "Repair", or "remove" ...
Ease of use excellnt This software is very easy to use, if your a numty like me. Luckily I havn't had to use a back up to restore from a crash, so I can't say how well that section would work. But it was easy to back everything up and make a boot disk if it all went up in smoke.So, so far, very good.
Paragon Drive Backup Personal 8 worked for me I thank this is a very good backup program . I wanted to try it before I bought it to see if it would work on a new large 320gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA drive (updating from a 160gb ide hard drive). Downloaded the try before you buy program last night and installed the Paragon Drive Backup Personal 8 Trial version program and my Serial ATA card and new SATA hard drive.
